Go have a failure forum on your next team call. What does that mean? Invite everyone to share a failure that they have been a part of, that they’ve ideally led, and talk about what they learned from it and what they would do differently next time. And when you do that, you start, meaning you’re going to start by sharing a failure that you led.

What you learn from it, what you’re going to do next time. The goal here is to create psychological safety, to not hide from our mistakes but highlight them because, in fact, we all make mistakes; we’re all human, and what we can learn from them is the key.
